 Perla Olivia Rodríguez is teaching and researching. Master in Political Sciences and has a bachelor degree in Sciences of Communication with honorary mention by the National University Autonomous of México. She has designed and produced programs of radio, television and multimedia with educational and cultural objectives. She has created and coordinated programs of resident and distance training and formation at national and international levels in the field of Audiovisual Documentation. She coordinated the International Seminar “The audiovisual archives in Latin America” (November, 2001) and she was the executive coordinator of the IV, V and VI International Biennial of Radio, among other important forums, at the IASA Conference in 2006. From 2001 to 2006, she worked in Radio Educación, responsible for the Production and Programming area, and coordinates the Laboratory of Artistic Sound Experimentation (LEAS). Since May 2006, she is working as Director of Promotion and Diffusion of the National Phonoteque of Mexico, developing projects to create and promote the culture of listening.
